Dear Reader,
Modern medicine has no cure for autoimmune diseases — and, sadly, most doctors don’t understand them.
I’m talking about disorders like rheumatoid arthritis, type 1 diabetes, lupus, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, psoriasis, multiple sclerosis (MS) and more.
In all, there are about 80 autoimmune diseases affecting organs throughout the body. They occur when your own immune system becomes overactive and attacks your body instead of diseases and foreign invaders.
The standard mainstream treatment for most autoimmune disorders relies on Big Pharma drugs that cover up symptoms or suppress your immune system, and make you vulnerable to life-threatening infections, like pneumonia and colitis.
Nature has a better solution…
Exciting new research reveals that a single molecule has shown hope in “reversing” autoimmunity. It’s called nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) — and it’s completely natural.
NAD+ is found in every cell in your body. It’s important because it allows the transfer of energy from the foods you eat to power your body’s vital cellular functions.1
In fact, NAD+ is vital for every process in the human body. It affects metabolism, hormone regulation, and immune system function. It also helps with DNA repair.
And Harvard researchers recently discovered that NAD+ can fine-tune your overactive immune system.2
They tested NAD+ in mice with an autoimmune condition similar to MS, which causes nerve pain, muscle weakness and achy joints.
The mice that received NAD+ had a huge shift in their autoimmune response. Their immune cells stopped attacking their nerves. Instead they started protecting the nerves. In other words, NAD+ re-set the balance in their immune systems. But it did even more…
The NAD+ repaired and healed nerves damaged by the disease. That’s unheard of in autoimmune conditions.
Other studies show that NAD+ eases and even reverses the recurrence of joint and muscle pain. It relieves other chronic conditions that afflict nerve and brain cells.3 It also turns inflammatory immune cells off and on.4
This single molecule offers incredible hope for an end to the pain and heartache of autoimmune conditions.
I’ve been recommending NAD+ to my patients for years. Long before it was proven to help autoimmune diseases, NAD+ was known for its anti-aging benefits. It is required to “turn off” genes that accelerate aging processes.
You have plenty of NAD+ when you’re young. But as you age, levels drop. As NAD+ levels decline, mitochondria function is impaired. And you start to see many of the physical signs of aging. Studies link decreases in NAD+ levels to:
Your body produces NAD+ from a unique and powerful form of vitamin B3 called nictonamide riboside (NR).
This vitamin was only discovered about a decade ago. And it’s still overlooked by mainstream medicine. But I call it the “next generation” of B3. NR is a precursor of NAD. That means in order to boost your NAD+ levels, you need to first boost your nictonamide riboside.
Here’s what I recommend to my patients:
Boost NR Naturally
I recommend taking between 500 mg and 1,000 mg per day before breakfast.
To Your Good Health,
